The Extension Master Gardener℠ program of Clay County is an educational program designed to enhance public education in the horticulture field. It provides educational programs to the citizens of clay county concerning lawns, fruits, vegetables, trees, and ornamentals through the utilization of a trained and supervised volunteer staff.

The Master Gardener℠ volunteer course starts March 5, 2020. The fee for the program is $130 which includes the North Carolina Extension Gardener Hard Back Handbook (the handbook will be given out on March 5). Course limit is 50 participants.
